The 2017 event will be held September 29 & 30 in Chicago courtesy of Chicago U-Pic-A-Part. Watch this space for more information as it becomes available!

Registration for attendees is now available for the Illinois Convention & Trade Show! Please join us this year at the State House Inn, downtown Springfield, IL on September 23 & 24. Our event will be going on during the Rt 66 Mother Road Show which will be held downtown that weekend as well. The trade show will actually be open to the public on Saturday for the last two hours of the show.

Our own John Catalano, Sr. of Bionic Auto Parts recently spoke with NBC 5 in Chicago about the potential for identity theft when personal information is left in a wrecked car that then makes its way to a salvage yard, particularly for wrecks at self-service yards. While responsibility falls on the car's former owner to ensure all personal effects have been removed prior to tow, that doesn't always happen, especially following injury accidents. For the protection of others, adopt a policy at your own facility to ALWAYS destroy any personal effects which are left behind in the wrecks you receive.
